Large-scale opening of the business season at the international specialised exhibitions RUPLASTICA, UPAKEXPO and RECYCLING SOLUTIONS 2026

From January 27 to 30, the Crocus Expo IEC hosted the largest international exhibitions for plastics and rubber RUPLASTICA, packaging solutions for food and non-food industry UPAKEXPO, and waste management and recycling RECYCLING SOLUTIONS.

This season, the venue was visited by over 31 000 specialists, and over 1 000 companies from several dozen countries participated in projects. These included Russia, Turkey, Italy, India, Belarus, Brazil, Vietnam, Egypt, Kazakhstan, China, the UAE, San Marino, Taiwan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, and others.

The 2026 exhibitions were memorable for their expanded equipment selection, the participation of new companies, and a large-scale exhibit that impressed guests with its diversity and scope. The extensive business program included five streams: POLYMER PLAZA – polymer industry forum, INNOVATION PACK – packaging and printing discussion platform, RECYCLING SOLUTIONS – conference on the economics of reproduction, recycling, and disposal, as well as expert sessions on industrial 3D printing – ADDITIVE MINDED and International Polymer Hackathon in the discipline "Chemistry and Physics of Polymers" for final-year university students.

Over four days of action-packed programming, guests at RUPLASTICA, UPAKEXPO and RECYCLING SOLUTIONS exhibitions were able to learn about key trends and tendencies in various segments of the polymer, packaging, processing, and industrial 3D technologies industries, engage in personal interactions with dozens of authoritative experts and executives from leading market companies, and gain a wealth of business solutions and technologies for their own businesses.
